This new device is pure genius – the world’s first swim mask with an integrated waterproof digital camera. It will surely be on the wish list of every shallow water photographer.
It is designed for use at up to 15 feet underwater, which makes it ideal for snorkeling or shallow swimming.
The 5 megapixel camera is mounted in the centre and has integrated cross-hairs in the eyepieces (made of tempered glass) to line up your shots. You simply press a big shutter button on the top to take your photos or record videos.
It includes a LED indicator (in mask) to let you know whether you’re in photo or video mode. It only comes with 16MB of memory, enough for 30 high resolution images (2560 x 1920), but there is a microSD slot for adding extra storage.
To download your images, you simply plug the mask into your PC or Mac USB port – it includes a USB cable and software with which to edit your creations.
