Designer Kong Fanwen has developed a novel “No-key Keyboard” concept that replaces keys with a pane of glass, making it the world’s flattest full-size keyboard.
The concept works by using a camera combined with “the latest motion capture technology” to watch finger positions and input the appropriate keystrokes.
Apart from the beautiful design, the keyboard has several advantages over traditional keyboards such as being waterproof and easy to clean. The slimness of its design could help sub-notebook manufacturers to make their products even thinner.
The keyboard would feature lighting options to help users type in the dark.
