Honlai Technology has introduced its QingBar MP101 iPhone projector which acts as a video and audio input as well as a docking station for recharging your iPhone or iPod Touch.
The QingBar uses advanced Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) technology which is said to produce smoother, more lifelike images than Digital Light Processing (DLP) chips.
The projector can throw a 15 to 27-inch display in a 4:3 aspect ratio at 200:1 contrast. It can display 16.7 million colours but the resulting picture isn’t terribly bright at just 10-15 lumens.
The lamp is a new 5W LED that is rated at up to 20,000 hours of life which is a big improvement over regular lamps.
Dimensions are 102 x 76 x 54mm (W, L, H).
