LG has unveiled its latest LCD panel, the Flatron W2252TE, which it claims is the world’s most energy efficient monitor.
It is a 22-inch widescreen display that offers a 45 per cent (~40W) power reduction compared to other models but without compromising on spec.
The display has a 1680 x 1050 resolution, a 2 ms response time, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a 250cd/m2 brightness rating and a 170 degree viewing angle.
Price has not yet been announced but it should be available August in the UK.
