Designer Chang Ting Jen has come up with an ultra-convenient design for a bicycle which is so lightweight and versatile it can be folded down and carried around as a backpack. Weighing only 5.5kg and measuring 60cm in length when folded, it can be carried around with ease wherever you go.

Weight is kept to a minimum thanks to the use of strong but lightweight plastics to replace much of the traditionally metal frame.

The backpack bicycle comes fully equipped with headlight, brake light and turn signals to accommodate night riding and cycling amongst traffic.

The concept seems like a very modern means of transportation, not only requiring no fuel to run but helping us attain that coveted goal of complete mobility.
