YachtPlus has announced a concept yacht called the 40 ‘Signature Series’ that aims to be king in a market already awash with luxury vessels. The futuristic design was crafted by renowned architect Lord Foster who has incorporated function, luxury and beauty right down to the smallest detail.
Foster placed special emphasis on the quantity of space as well as light and views in his design to make the 41 meter yacht feel even roomier. The design is supposed to offer owners an extension to the modern spaces in which they live and work.
The Italian boat-builders run a fractional ownership program which may make this boat less costly by splitting the bills with seven other parties. With fees of €200,000 per year just for maintenance and management, it’s still clearly out of reach for most of us.
Ah, maybe someday.
