This revolver ring could give the term cold feet a whole new and very literal meaning. It apparently comes with tiny bullets which in reality, probably only pack about as much punch as a Japanese BB Gun – which can…well…kill!. Birds. But not the kind you’d marry…unless you’re a particularly keen Ornithologist. And a dwarf. Look, if nothing else, the height difference is gonna ruin things.

Kingston will unveil the world’s first electric superbike this week at the 2008 NEC Motorcycle Show in Birmingham, England. Their TTX01 motorcycle is capable of 125mph (200km/h) and can apparently recharge in as little as 15 minutes via a high-current charger.

Design team Anna Gram have come up with an elegant design for a digital clock that uses lemons as a power source, instead of cheaper and more practical environmentally damaging batteries or coal-fired grid ‘leccy. The fruit fly magnet “Citrus Clock” uses electrolysis to generate energy and will get a week’s worth of juice between lemon changes.

Buffalo Japan have today announced the release of a new ultra-small USB thumb drive that makes use of a removable MicroSD chip to store data. The drive is essentially a tiny implementation of a microSDHC card reader and comes bundled with your choice of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB cards, though you can use your own.

Welsh company Protomax Plastics are turning mixed plastic trash such as drink bottles, plastic bags and old milk crates into lightweight armored panels with a little help from a machine called P2. The resulting Kevlar coated panels are bulletproof and fireproof and their light weight makes for quicker assembly of military shelters or emergency modular housing.
