German appliance manufacturer Miele have come up with an impressive new ultra-flexible vacuum cleaner called the S7, which features an array of bright LED lights on the suction head to floodlight all your dirt and dust. Apart from looking great, this simple addition should help prevent missing a spot and the cursing that inevitably ensues.
The vac also features 1800W of suction, which is adjustable via a LED display panel on the handle. The reduced suction level is designed for cleaning curtains and soft furnishings via the hose attachment, which ordinarily, would suck them right down the wand.
Apart from the LED array, my favorite feature would be its ability to lay flat on the floor to get under tables etc…I’d call it alligator mode. The S7 is the most flexible of vacs I’ve seen yet, even besting (in my opinion) Dyson’s clever pivoting ball uprights.
The S7s are designed and tested to last 20 years and come in five flavors, which range from £249 ($388) for the S7210, to £370 ($577) for the feature-laden S7580. To see the S7 in all its pivoting glory, check out the videos over at Miele’s promotional site.
