Samsung N310 Netbook Unveiled: Colorful, Curvaceous.

Samsung today announced a curvaceous new netbook called the N310 which features a large keyboard for easy typing and a “frameless”, scratch-resistant 10-inch display, with a glassy appearance similar to Apple’s Unibody MacBook Pros.

The N310 was styled by international designer Naoto Fukasawa, who seems to have brought a little fun and sophistication to the model. It will come in a range of colors like Sony’s Vaio P and include an unspecified Intel Atom processor, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, WiFi, WiBRO, HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, 1.3-megapixel camera, 3-in-1 card reader and 3 x USB ports.

This stylish little netbook will run Windows XP and Samsung claims it will acheive up to 5 hours of battery life, or up to 11 hours when using the extended battery pack. Weight comes in at 2.71lbs (1.23kg).

There is no word on pricing just yet, but expect Samsung’s N310 to hit North American and European shelves in May.
