The iLuv Alarm Clock is a bedside alarm with a built-in iPod dock, which also includes a “Bed Shaker” that vibrates you awake in the morning. This wired vibrating gadget can be placed under your pillow or elsewhere on your mattress, waking you peacefully with a shake of your bed and possibly even the shake of a whammy bar in your favourite tunes.
The iLuv, like the Infallibly Polite Speaking Alarm Clock, looks like a much more civilized way to start your day than by being wrenched from slumber by some screeching alarm. If you use the Bed Shaker under your pillow, you’ve got similar functionality to Vessel’s Vibe Alarm Clock Pillow, but with the bonus of being able to hook up your iPod via a universal iPod dock.
