Samsung only just announced their curvy N310 netbook yesterday, but the South Korean giant isn’t stopping there, launching yet another mini notebook today called the Samsung N120. This model promises an impressive 10.5 hours of runtime through its long-life 6 cell battery, as well as a full-size 12-inch notebook keyboard for quicker and easier typing.
Samsung today announced a curvaceous new netbook called the N310 which features a large keyboard for easy typing and a “frameless”, scratch-resistant 10-inch display, with a glassy appearance similar to Apple’s Unibody MacBook Pros.
Samsung today announced their new HZ15W compact point-and-shoot camera which features a 12.2 megapixel sensor and a professional 24mm ultra-wide angle Schneider-Kreuznach lens. The lens also gets a whopping 10x optical zoom with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-240mm.
Not to be outdone by LG’s solar-powered phone we saw yesterday, Samsung have announced their own solar handset that can supposedly generate enough power through its cells to “call anytime, anywhere.”
Samsung yesterday announced an impressive touchscreen camera phone called the Memoir, that packs a huge 8-megapixel camera, Xenon flash and 16x digital zoom inside a slim, streamlined body. The phone is designed to look much like a regular point-and-shoot digital camera and could easily be mistaken as such.
A video has surfaced of a new innovation in OLED technology which is thought to be from the recent Japanese Flat Panel Display (FPD) trade show. It shows a full-color OLED display by Samsung which is capable of being folded in two, much like a sheet of paper. The display joins Samsung’s .05mm thick OLED that was also present at the show – flapping in the wind.
Samsung has developed a new OLED display that is so thin, it literally flaps in the wind. The 4-inch “Flapping Display” is just 0.05mm thick, can produce 480×272 pixels with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and reproduce 100% of the NTSC color gamut, making the picture quality comparable to that of most flat-panel displays on the market.
Samsung has today unveiled their X360 (no xbox relation) notebook which it hopes will outdo Apple’s MacBook Air. The impressive offering was presented at the IFA consumer-electronics fair in Berlin and will feature Sammy’s next-gen 128GB SSD, finger-print scanner for security, 7-in-1 card reader and silver-nano particles on the keyboard to resist bacteria.
