Sony’s New Laptop Cuts Keyboard In Half

Sony has released a brand new laptop called the VAIO VGC-LJ25L which has a 15.4 inch wide display but only half a keyboard. This design is not a prototype.

This laptop seems to be a substitute PC for around the home like in the kitchen for example. The company says it will make it easier to work in confined or narrow spaces. More ideal for quickly Googling something than working at for hours on end.

It has already launched in Korea with a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, integrated X3100 graphics card (for simple tasks only – not for gaming), 200GB hard disk and dual-layer DVD burner. It features a built-in camera, a microphone plus built-in speakers and woofer.

It is priced in Australia and Japan at around £1360/$2720.
