If you ever struggle fitting your watch under your sleeves or gloves, this fine timepiece may just be the answer to your troubles. Called The World’s Thinnest Watch, it measures a mere 3/16-inch (4.76mm) thin and with a weight of just 1 ounce (28.34g) you’ll hardly know you’re wearing it.
Crafted by Steinhausen of Germany, the World’s Thinnest Watch is the product of 5 years of research and design by German engineers and Swiss watchmakers, who managed to miniaturize its mechanical clock movement enough to fit inside what is the world’s thinnest watch face.
As you’d expect, this classy chronometer uses a precision Swiss quartz movement for accurate timekeeping, but also includes a sapphire stone embedded in the crown and two genuine Italian leather bands – all presented with the utmost style inside a velvet-lined box. Luxurious.
Water resistant to 98ft (30m), The World’s Thinnest Watch is available now from Hammacher Schlemmer in either gold for $169.95 or silver for $119.95. Take your pick.
