Miniot has introduced a unique line of timber cases to dress up your new iPhone 3G once you get your hands on it. They are slim, elegant designs that are carved from a single piece of wood and come in a choice of five different timbers to suit your tastes.
The casing protects the back and sides of your iPhone, leaving the front face open for you to show off your technological masterpiece. It includes appropriately positioned cutouts for all ports and controls.
There is also an optional wood dock that pairs up nicely with the case and can dock your iPhone in both landscape and portrait mode.
The range of hardwoods available include oak, padouk, cherry, mahogany and walnut and is priced at around $125 USD each. Sure, it’s almost as much as the 3G iPhone itself, but it’s a natural material and looks like a work of art.
The case should be available by the end of July.
