Brush Lugg: Magnetic Brush Holder Ends Paint Tin Frustration

Some of the greatest inventions are but incredibly simple devices that leave us pondering why we never came up with them sooner. The Brush Lugg is one of those inventions, providing a simple, yet ingenious way of resting your paint brush whilst carrying out other painting tasks.

The Brush Lugg is quite simply a magnetic paint brush holder that clips onto the side of your paint tin. The magnets attach to your brush’s metal ferrule, allowing drips to fall back into the can. Much better than resting your brush on top and having it drip on the floor or down the side of the can. That’s not to mention the mess it makes when the protruding handle connects with your leg and goes flying across the room.

The upper magnet can be used if the tin is full, keeping your bristles out of the paint and for extra functionality, the device includes a tin opener on one of the handles, so you don’t need to worry about looking for that screwdriver, knife, claw-hammer, house key…I’ve tried ’em all.

If you’re after a little painting assistant that doesn’t charge by the hour, jump on over to Lee Valley where they have them for a neat $3.50…less, if you’re ravenous.
