Logitech Intros G13 Advanced Gameboard With LCD Display

Logitech have today announced a new peripheral designed exclusively for gamers. Called the G13 Advanced Gameboard, it is a sleek keyboard/mouse hybrid and includes an integrated 163 x 43 pixel LCD display for in-game info such as stats and messages from other players.

The keypad features 25 programmable keys, all backlit for playing in the dark and including the programmable analog stick, you get up to 87 different ways to control a game.

The ergonomic design certainly grabs your attention and looks like it would be comfy to use. I do wonder if the stick can be switched to the opposite side though, as that would offer up a bit more flexibility.

The G13 Gameboard will work on either PC or Mac (which does have some good games, despite popular opinion) and will be available in the U.S. and Europe sometime this month for $80.
