iRobot Scooba 330 Floor-Washing Robot Will Tackle Your Tiles

The iRobot Scooba 330 Floor-Washing Robot takes floor cleaning up a notch from the popular Roomba robotic vacuums, effortlessly washing your tile, linoleum and sealed hardwood floors so that you don’t have to.

Covering a floor area of 250 square feet (4 average-sized rooms) on a single charge, the Scooba 330 uses either water, water and vinegar or Clorox Scooba cleaning solution to scrub your floors clean – requiring only that you fill up the tank (video below).

iRobot’s self-navigating Scooba uses a four-stage cleaning process which includes a dust and dirt grabbing prep stage, a washing stage that is careful only to use clean water and solution, a scrubbing stage which removes grease and grime and finally, a drying stage performed by the Scooba’s built-in squeegee that leaves floors ready to walk on.

Fitted with “cliff-sensing” technology that avoids rugs, carpets, stairs and ledges, the iRobot Scooba 330 comes ready-to-go with an 8-ounce bottle of Clorox, measuring cup, battery, power supply and charging base – ready to make your mop and bucket redundant.

The iRobot Scooba 330 floor-washing robot retails for $400, but is available now with lots of positive reviews over at Amazon.com for $299.99 .
