WowWee Cinemin Swivel Pico Projector Shines At Any Angle

WowWee Cinemin Swivel Pico Projector [Pivoting]

If you’re looking for an easy way to share movies on your iPod, iPhone or Flip – or simply want to enjoy them on-the-go on a larger screen, this ultra-portable pocket projector is tough to beat. Called the WowWee Cinemin Swivel Pico Projector, it offers up to 60-inches of crisp, full-color video on any flat surface and thanks to its unique ability to pivot up to 90º, is easily positioned for handsfree playback on walls, ceilings or even the backs of airline seats without propping it up (video below).

Featuring a comparatively long 2-hour battery life, the Cinemin Swivel can project an entire 120 minute feature film from start to finish in sharp 480 x 320 resolution and is powered by Texas Instruments’ Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology – the very same used in theaters.

With a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 3:2 aspect ratio, WowWee’s Cinemin Swivel includes built-in auto-focus, a small speaker with volume control, a headphone jack and the muscle to project an image from over eight feet away in just about any dim to dark environment.

Measuring the size of a candy bar, the WowWee Cinemin Swivel Pico Projector charges in around 3 hours over AC (or USB via the included cable) and is available now from Barnes and Noble for $389.95.

That is AWESOME! I didn’t know that they even made pocket projectors, and that one really is the best! That would be awesome for the long airplane rides.
