NEC has announced two new projectors, the NP905 and NP901W, that will be shown at their booth at InfoComm in a few days.
Both projectors will support high-speed network capabilities via LAN.
The NP905 can display a 1024 x 768 native XGA resolution at a 500:1 contrast ratio and 3000 ANSI lumens.
The NP901W can display a wider 1290 x 800 WXGA resolution at a 400:1 contrast ratio with less brightness at 2000 ANSI lumens.
These are relatively large, high spec projectors and won’t be competing with the recent iPhone projector or cell phone projector in size or convenience.
The two models use a Silicon Optix GQV processor and will be available in July for $1,999.99 and $1,299.99, respectively.
