Griffin Simplifi iPod Dock Is An Elegant Media Hub

Griffin recently released a new iPod dock called Simplifi, which is actually rather useful. It combines an iPod/iPhone charger and sync hub, media card slots and a USB hub all in one elegant device. It’s a simple little gadget, but one that’s sure to tidy up your desk, simplify media management and get rid of a few cables.

The Simplifi reads and writes to most popular digital media cards including SD, SDHC, xD, CompactFlash, MemoryStick and MemoryStick Pro, with data transferred to and from your computer via a USB mini cable.

It is compatible with the original iPhone and all iPod models that are dock-rechargable. Sadly, it doesn’t seem to be compatible with the 3G iPhone, though the latest 4th gen Nano and 2nd gen iPod Touch will work fine.

The dock includes an AC adapter to power its two USB 2.0 ports or charge your iPod/iPhone without a link to your computer. It will set you back $70 from Griffin’s store which is not bad IMHO.

I still prefer the Steve Jobs Bobblehead dock for laughs, though.

This IPad thing is really looking amazing… all the specific features and so on… but this time I see this, I instantly don’t like it in just about any respect. I’m a extremely pleased owner of an iTouch (2nd Generation) and I do believe this thing has improved very much in comparison with the initial generation. And for that reason it will always be elevated, but remember that … In no way purchase a product from Apple in the event that it’s just one year in the marketplace, they’ll enhance it nonetheless they usually change step-by-step to acheive increase sales and profits applying their company goods… Exceptionally smart folks 🙂
