Credit Card Calculator: Works Out Bills, Won’t Pay For Them.

Maths isn’t everyone’s strong point and when it comes to working out how much you should tip in a restaurant (especially if tax or service isn’t included in the prices), a little help is always welcome. This is where the Lexon Credit Card Calculator comes in. It fits in your wallet just like a regular card and offers discrete calculations wherever you may be.

Designed by Sam Hecht, the Credit Card Calculator is a mere 2mm (0.08″) thick and includes keys that mimic the appearance of the raised characters on plastic payment cards. The display and solar panel are disguised as the traditional magnetic stripe.

Purchasing the gadget requires a bit of calculation in itself. It usually sells for $17.00, but is on sale now for $6.00 – an $11.00 saving. That was the easy part. Calculating whether it makes sense to order a gadget that costs more to ship than to buy, could be an unsolvable problem.
