"The Only 3D Web Camera" Adds Another Dimension, Cuteness.

The Only 3D Web Camera is a new release from Hammacher Schlemmer which brings three-dimensional video recording to your desktop. Paired with 5 sets of 3D glasses, this cute little guy will hang from your monitor and record eye-popping video that you can share with your mates on YouTube, Facebook and most other video-sharing sites (though they’ll need a pair of the cyan/red glasses to see the effect).

The 3D webcam, aka Minoru, works by recording two slightly different images and combining them to form a stereoscopic image that appears 3-dimensional when viewed with the included glasses. Video is captured at 15fps at 800 x 600 pixel resolution and the webcam can focus at close range – up to 12-inches (30.5cm) away.

Compatible with Windows XP and Vista, The Only 3D Web Camera can also be used as a regular webcam and can provide 2D picture-in-picture, as well as side-by-side videos.

Breaking from the traditional single camera cyclops look, The Only 3D Web Camera is available now from Hammacher Schlemmer for $99.95.
