Mozilla Labs has released a video that demonstrates the new Firefox mobile concept (Fennec), that aims to improve web navigation, organisation of tabs and reduce typing on mobile devices.
The concept focuses on providing as much space for content as is possible while providing features that reduce the need for typing.
The video explains the direction Mozilla Labs is taking but the concept will not necessarily be released in its present form. They are looking for feedback and suggestions on its usability and hope to inspire creative participation to look for other alternatives and directions.
Firefox mobile will be designed for touch screen use with a finger and will be focused on single touch, as opposed to multitouch. It will also run on non-touchscreen devices to ensure the highest level of compatibility.
